First motorhome - Thor Palazzo 33.1. Storing for the winter in a fully enclosed and heated space. Is it best to store with slideouts in or out? Also, any suggestions for space brands of space heaters to maintain minimum temp inside MH?

Thanks,

I winterize and let it get cold inside. Mine stays outside year round. I use these while I am in the coach.

Thank you for your comments and heater recommendations.

You need to winterize even if stored inside and at the very least you need to blow out the lines. We had storm a few years ago that took out some power lines and we lost power in the storage area for 2 or 3 days during some below freezing days. When we check on our coach that was winterize they were several others in 5 degree weather trying to get theirs winterize.

If I was going to run a heater it would be one those oil filled radiator type but I agree with above I would just winterize and not worry about it.

I have winterized. Just wondering if others use any additional interior heat to reduce possibility of condensation.

I would say if you have the power available it certainly cant hurt to have some heat inside.

Iuse twodehumidifiers until the inside temperatures reach freezing. There are a few Damp Rid pales in the coach at all times.

Thanks,
Bring the slideouts in. Probably doesn't matter much with respect to being winterized, but it'll sure help hold the heat in if you're running a small heater inside.
