Not judging anyone for their habits or vices, I'm just curious. I smoked when I was younger but quit after watching a friend die a miserable death.

Absolutely a yes. As a former smoker, the stench from cigars and cigarettes is disgusting.

I’m also a former smoker, but if the bourbon is right, I’ll do a cigar now and again. On the other hand, my best half is quite allergic to smoke. I wouldn’t miss it if it were not allowed, and the spousal unit would welcome a smoke-free environment.

One thing that has always surprised me about the RVing public is the disproportionate number of smokers...IMHO, of course.

All my life I hated cigarette / cigar smoke drifting in my face. I understand it is your personal choice thing, and it is OK if you can keep it to yourself. But smoke drifts and affects other people. Like loud music.
I'm all out for non-smoking RV parks. We just stayed in Flagstaff AZ in one. They had a smoking area by the gate.
Remember the outrage when smoking was banned in Restaurants? Same here. We are packed tight in the RV parks, and it is hard to avoid breathing someone's second hand smoke.

I don't smoke and I've never enjoyed cigars but I occasionally light up a pipe. With all the different tobaccos and flavors my wife will actually stick around when I fire it up. I have even had others walking by say they enjoyed the aroma. Would a non-smoking park keep me from going there? Not at all. I would respect the rules and light up another day.

I’ve never smoked, so yes I would stay at a non-smoking campground, but I don’t think I’ve ever been bothered by smoke at a campground that allows smoking. So, it really isn’t an issue either way.

Oh yes!

Absolutely

Definitely

I wish they all were
