I can’t see a damn thing. I just checked the sun here in VA and it’s not covered yet. How long does it take to see again?

You can watch it on YouTube for those interested. NASA etc.

The moon is slow. It's taking forever here in VA. Moon needs a thruster upgrade! My meatstick can't even detect the temperature changes. Smells some, but not working otherwise.

Stop! I'm not going to ask how Elli is feeling about you having "meatstick". Poor little girl.

You can laugh all you want too. I bet Ellie ain't laughing as a matter of fact, she may be planning her getaway as we speak.

Yeah yeah yeah, she's my little princess, no need to worry. Back to regular programming...still medium light here in VA.

Our next-door neighbors have chickens and they were hysterical to watch. About 45 minutes before totality they went back to their coop for about 10 minutes and then came back out. Right before totality, they went back in, and an hour later they were still in their coop. It only stayed nighttime dark for about 3 minutes.
