I am selling my Jeep Cherokee which I have owned for the last 12 years. 2 years ago I set it up for flat towing behind my truck/camper, but now I have a 4x4 truck and a Lance Trailer and I need to reduce the number of vehicles in my fleet.
Truck has less than 68,000 miles on the whole vehicle. Engine, Trans, Body. Axles have fewer miles since they were regeared about 30,000 miles ago. The truck drives well and has working A/C and Heater, I have driven it to Colorado and back, Tahoe, Tucson, KOFA, Sedona, Mohave National Refuge, Southern Sierras. It is comfortable and gets 14MPG+ driving at 65 miles per hour(which is also what my truck and camper got when towing it).
Vehicle has Stealth Braking system for connection to tow vehicle, Roadmaster removable tow brackets and a basic tow bar included(properly rated for the weight).
The list of items below represents $17,000 in parts, not including my purchase of the vehicle. Luckily I did the majority of work myself otherwise I would have spent another $8-10K in Labor.
I am asking $18,000 OBO but I am reasonable and will negotiate. This vehicle tows nicely, will get you around safely and comfortably on errands and while touring, and can take you off the highway into the back country.
