After selling our FL home we have been full time in the RV traveling around for the past 3.5 years.

@Bayouownbeer - Looks like we have the exact same rig!! Just picked mine up 2 weeks ago and did a break in trip in New Mexico. All good so far🤞
That’s awesome. I’ve been having mine since November 2022 and put 5k miles on it. Have had a few minor issues fixed my self. My front AC compressor blew out which is still on the minor side for me. Renegade shipped me a new one and swapped it out wife and I. Give me holler if you need anything. Good luck with.

@Bayouownbeer I have been reviewing the manuals trying to figure out the best way to maintain this beast I just bought. Can you clear a few things up for me? I have 2400 miles on it now and we are planning a trip in early September that should have us putting 3500 miles on it. The manuals are confusing. The chassis manual says do first maintenance at 2500 miles. The Cummins manual says no engine break-in oil change is necessary and the first oil change is needed at 15000 miles. I have an appointment at a Freightliner dealer to do maintenance. Should I have them change the engine oil even though it only has 2400 miles? Am I being too paranoid about maintenance? Honestly, I am finding all these different systems and component maintenance guidance confusing. Any maintenance advice you or others can give this newbie will be greatly appreciated.

I did my oil at 18 months from date of manufacture it had 6k miles on it. The manual says 18 months or 15k miles. Keep in mind the chassis was built prior to the RV. Most people do the oil once a year regardless of the miles. I’m going to go with the 18 months. The 2500 mile service is for greasing the chassis but not all of it is due every 2500 miles. The front end is easy to get to the rest is not bad but you do have to get underneath. I did all my own service.
If you want more details on the greasing of the. chassis your self send me private message.
If you plan to bring it to freighter for all of the maintenance, I would wait on the oil change as it is quite expensive. If you’re capable I suggest doing the greasing your self as 2500 miles is quiet often. I doubt very many follow that recommendation.
