Thank you Jim. It’s not nevessary and a very kind gesture. I’d like to put names to faces of our forum members. If I can make it happen I’ll show up on the 12 and depart on the 14th. I am still figuring out travel stops etc.

Don't be bringing no white sauce either.

The kind gesture was a joke. We're not scheduled to arrive until Sunday, Sept 15th but if you can get permission to be there 12-14th, I'll come in early. Let me know when you finalize your plans or when she permits you to stay.

A joke? My feelings are crushed. There will be white sauce then. Permissions? From my dog? Just me and the dog and he’s easy going. Right now it’s looking like the 13-15 as you hoots goers are taking over the entire park. There are no openings until like Friday the following week.

The rally schedule has been published and I suggest we meet on Sunday afternoon. The First Time Hoots Gathering is from 5-6pm and then the Beer Social from 6-10pm. We could meet at 6-6:15 to meet each other and then go to the Beer Social. I am in site 33 and would be happy to extend a warm Texas welcome to y'all.

Any suggestions or better ideas?

Seems reasonable!

A question: Did you contact the campground directly to find out your site, or did I miss a message from Hoots?

EDIT: Never mind! The spots are now available on the Facebook site. We're in 57.

@Stuart W are you available to join a quick meet and greet between the new members gathering and the kegless keg party?

@sheridany, I will be arriving mid-day on Saturday. Will you be in the park?

I look forward to putting some faces with names.

Sorry. My plans changed due to unforeseen circumstances and I will not be there. Hopefully another time.

I can’t see why not, will be arriving on Saturday, let’s talk🙂

We will arrive tomorrow, Saturday, September 14, and look forward to meeting RVF members on Saturday or Sunday afternoon around 6pm. I will be in Site 33.

Safe travels everyone.

Ninja tofu cooking skills that I know he wants to see.
Hahahah. I like tofu. Got any good recipes - you can start a Ninja Tofu Thread. 😂

Dang you ARD. This thread was progressing without any nonsense and then you have to bring up Tofu. I guess you will want to discuss the attributes of white sauce on smoked meats. :sneaky:

Yeah, @sheridany is good at starting stuff but can't seem to finish stuff. He thinks cooking tofu and sprouts with white sauce added in the last 3 minutes is cooking. Those Kalyfornians have a funny way of looking at gourmet cooking. Every good chef knows white sauce is some lard, flour, and milk cooked in a cast iron skillet. It is best served over split buttermilk biscuits. Kalyfornians... harrumph.

We lined up this morning for an off-roading adventure. More photos to follow. @osuallen was part of the group. I'm happy to report no injuries or major damage was reported by anyone.

I lost count of the number of times Casey spoke with the various groups and each time answered questions as long as there were questions.

One program he has instituted is that all executives, managers, and brand specialists will take and use a motorhome to get familiar with the operations and maybe experience some of the same issues we have had. So far, I believe 80 employees have participated in the program.
