They gave it to me. It’s a Chevy frame with 8.1 workhorse I guess. It has 50 k miles on it and taken care of pretty well. I hope there is life left in it to enjoy as much as my parents did.

We are having the RV detailed before I go get it. They are going to clean and oil the air conditioning units . They found they need it. I think it’s a good idea.

I got the RV home and found a storage place to park it at. Now it’s currently at a RV repair place I found that’s willing to do work on a 20 year old RV. It got the replacement mirror out in the passenger side. And the switch to adjust it from the drivers seat now is connected and works properly. I had a new awning over the bedroom slide out replaced. It had a small tear on it. Had a crack in the fiberglass end cap fixed and repainted. Awaiting one last little part to come in. A small crank on a split window in the bedroom. It’s part of an escape window. The crank moved the small lower part of the window out and back to vent I assume. It had a gear inside that seemed stripped. I should have it back soon. The only other thing I will have done is exhaust pipe leaks behind the mufflers. Looks like they just rotted out on the same spot at the low point of both pipes.

That Workhorse Chassis and 8.1 L Vortex motors are a good combo. Plenty of power. A couple things I did to mine were to change out the spark plugs (to Iridium) and wires (To High Heat Silicone. The wires are atop and close to the manifold and need to be able to withstand the high temp. It made a difference. Also, if it doesn't already have a steering stabilizer, consider getting one. Makes handling much improved. Your connection for Workhorse parts should be Brazel's RV Performance
