We have been towing for a number of years, most of it using a pickup truck with purpose made towing mirrors. We have downsided or rig to a 20 ft travel trailer and are considering replacing our truck with a medium to large SUV. We have yet to find one with adequate mirrors. Having a lot of experience towing full width trailers, I have found that typical factory mirrors leave the blind spots obscured, making lane changes dangerous. We have tried the universal clip/strap on variety and found them wanting. Does anyone know of an SUV with optional towing mirrors or one that has custom mirrors available?

I bought the towing mirrors for my truck from Boost Auto. I think they may only provide products for trucks but it can't hurt to check.

Check they may have something

You don't list the make, model and year of your SUV. etrailer does sell some model specific clip ons for more popular makes.
