Pulled in to beautiful Deer Springs After a 400 mile jaunt. Met Jim & Trish what wonderful hosts. We are on site #9. Many thanks for Jim setting up my internet.

Let me tell you NC has some of the highest mountains to climb that I ever drove. When you go up it lasts for miles and miles. On our last leg on S US 441 that had to be at least a 7 % grade and run for 5 miles. It starts at a stop light so you don’t have a running start. I was doing 35 miles an hr in 2 nd gear when I crest the top. Beautiful scenery all around.

That was where I learned my dash AC had issues last year.

I did the mountains out west in Colorado Springs and the western states. But the mountains in Tennessee & North Carolina go on forever, I think I need a new coach with a 450 HP instead of my 360 HP DP. But my wife isn't listening to me.

Glad you made it. It looks like a very nice place to camp. Mountains are always a bit of a challenge for us as well. When traveling through mountains out west with the switch backs at one point we unhooked the SuperCrew toad and traveled separately until the summit. So happy for the diesel pusher and engine braking.

It was great meeting you two and great conversation. I will be planning a trip your way soon. I will give notice😜.
I need to work on the selfies with more than two. I almost cut Andrea out. 😂

Good times, have a safe drive home.
