I have a 2015 Roadtrek RSCM with an Alde Compact 3010 heater. The control panel on the heater does not come on. I have verified that both 3.15 a fuses are operational. I don't know what else to check. Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know a place in northwest Indiana that services Alde heating units? Thank you.

Our 3010 quit working without warning one night. Knowing there was 12v power coming into the heater, the very next component on the printed circuit board was a little safety device called a thermal fuse. Using a bent paper clip to bypass it gave us heat for the rest of the trip. Sorry I can’t explain it a little better, but if you have a multimeter or a 12v test light, it might be worth a try. If I remember correctly, I removed the circuit board to check it. It’s pretty accessible with the Alde unit still installed
