Camping without full hookups and I thought all I had to do was attach the drinking water hose to the black inlet and make sure the blue lever is horizontal, but the tank never filled. Weird note, though, afterwards a small trickle of water came down from the roof at the corner.

THE PHOTO IS TURNED SIDEWAYS. THE WHITE INLET IS ON THE BOTTOM LEFT.

You may have the hose hooked to the wrong one. Sounds like you were hooked to the black tank flush. Black tank is likely full of water.

More frustration. I learned I have a lever for fresh and city water, that I was using the correct 'inlet' and that I have to turn both heat pump switches on. Also, the tank gauge stays at empty.
Today, I went back up to the water station, filled the tank until water began pouring out from underneath, I read that that is good, ran the water pump and had water coming from my faucets.
I drove back to my site and I no longer have water, so am not sure what's going on.

This is on our Concord, yours is likely set the same.

Hello. I have a Prism and relative newbie, but this is what I have figured out.
Yes, the black connector is for fresh water, the white one for flushing the black tank. Not color coordinated. 😉
With the blue lever horizontal, the water is filling the fresh water tank.
If there is water coming out underneath, it is likely your freshwater drain is open, and/or your lower point drain.
I’m not sure where the tank drain is, but the valves for the lower point drains are under the bottom drawer of the cabinet across from the refrigerator (at least they are in my 24dse).
Hope this helps!

You need to access the bottom of the cabinet on the inside. The lines will be just above where you see under the rig. It sounds like a valve is opened. Sometimes they are a pain to close and you may need to open and close a couple of times. You should have three, hot, cold and fresh tank.
