Running new coaxial tv cable

We have a 2004 bounder 39z. We pulled into a campsite and hooked everything up including the park cable. I tried to scan the tvs but found 0 channels. Purchased a new coaxial cable but still no channels. The rv doesn’t have a switch to turn on regular antenna booster. I found out that the previous owner had satellite tv. The area above the drivers seat in a cabinet is totally empty. Found out that the roof antenna isn’t connected to the cable system. Looks like I am going to have to run new cable as the old ones are missing or shorted out. I only want cable to the front and rear smart tvs. Has anyone had experience with running hew cable and have suggestions?

You may not need to run new. It’s just figuring out how it’s ran and what may not be hooked up. Good luck. It can be confusing.

As stated above, I’d try getting a cable tracer first and track where everything is run.

The one I have does coax, network, etc.

Picked it up at Harbor Freight I believe.

I removed the dish on our unit that was installed by the previous owner. It was a nightmare sorting things out at first. I thought of running new cable as well but we have three TVs. I finally got it sorted. The, most important is to make sure you have a signal. I tried starting with an over the air signal. It was easier to wait until we were in a park with cable. I ran a wire from the post to the outside TV to make sure the signal existed. From there I connected it to the RV input source for Cable and Satellite. Then I was able to mark the input cable(s) at the inside junction. Over the air, cable and dish. The rest was easy.

We run 3 TVs and decided to just stream using ROKU as we do in our bricks and mortar. Eliminated all the cable issues

I had the same problem when I bought my coach. The TV antenna is powered by the original video distribution box (often referred to as the BOMB - box of many buttons) that connects all of the televisions and original DVD/FM radio that would have been in the cupboard above driver seat. All of my cables were labeled - antenna, front TV, bedroom TV, outside TV, Park cable, Aux and Satellite. REV parts has an updated video distribution box available, based on your VIN, if you choose to go back to the original configuration.
