So when studying to become an electrician, I found electric motors required rotation on a schedule before they were commissioned. This task was ours.

Seems that bearings will deform if this task is not preformed over time.

Guess more than tires benefit from exercise!

No, it is not good for the valves, hoses, or seals... The RV should be started monthly anyway, simply move it 6"....

Start it only if you can drive it to get the engine and transmission up to full operating temperature. Starting to only let it idle does more harm than good.

Ford says to start it every two weeks for about 15 min. and let it come up to operating temperature

How do they justify such! Catalytic converters don't clear properly at idle. The transmission won't warm properly without the friction produced by the clutches,and torque convert will not engage.

Idling is considered the most abusive act you can offer your engine. My manual tells me to wait for the warning lights to clear before starting my journey. Stating vehicle Needs no other warm-up. Maybe that is why Ford stands for "found on road dead".
