Never lived in an HOA. Never had those kinds of issues.I love the fact that I do not have to look at a 30 yo schoolie in the driveway next door. Or my neighbor cannot paint his house purple and pink, or they have to maintain their property.
Actually just became the treasurer. Love this place. We have everything from rv spots to rv garage homes.Says the HOA president ? Lol
Besides, no one is forced into an HOA.Actually just became the treasurer. Love this place. We have everything from rv spots to rv garage homes.
Luckily we have people that like to have nice, well kept homes. We bought into an HOA environment and we are fortunate that we do not have slobs here with unkempt homes. None of the board members have ego problems. Maybe thats rare in this environment. It also beats living on a huge backwoods property and not knowing your neighbors. Here, help is a phone call or knock on the neighbors door.
Plus the fact that we all have a common interest makes it that much better.
I have looked in the none HOA 'hoods and you can have a nice block but theres always that one owner that brings the neighborhood down. Thats not for me, its like Palm Coast, blocks are hit and miss. One beautiful block then the house with their utility trailer parked permanently on their front lawn.
There's no way anyone will ever convince me of that.. It also beats living on a huge backwoods property and not knowing your neighbors.

I can send a copy of my book, "The Solution To Not Living In An HOA Community" to anyone who can't figure it out. It's only 19.95 plus shipping and it's a quick read, only one sentence.
Does it also say anything about a fool and their money or is that the sequel, for another $19.95?It says ..buy land that you own , not the HOA?
I guess facts do not matter.i was close..those who rule always think its great
I own my land. I also part own a bar/restaurant, an entertainment venue, a woodworking shop, tennis and pickleball courts, a nature center, a golf course, three pools, two gyms. I live in a double gated community, daily trash pickup, lawn care, a couple of clubhouses. Miles of nature trails for hiking, biking. Always something fun to do here.It says ..buy land that you own , not the HOA?
For 10.95 a month( autopay only) you can subscribe to my podcast where I divulge that kind of information as well as interview interesting personalities who will affirm what you already think.. Canceling is easy, just set aside 7 or 8 hrs.Does it also say anything about a fool and their money or is that the sequel, for another $19.95?![]()
I am glad you enjoy it..just as we enjoy ours..It is sad you think those less fortunate are all trailer trash.. i too have means but dont brag about it.. nor look down my nose at those who dont..just sayinI guess facts do not matter.Like the one that everyone is easy going. I like a place where I do not need to live next to a slob or trailer trash. I find the those that protest too much seem to be the ones I do not want to live next to. I love the social atmosphere and the fact that we may come from different places but we all have shared interests.

I can live anywhere but I love it here. Been here two years and have no desire to move or would even think of it.
So the best thing I can say is you do you and I do me.
On the contrary, trailer trash was referring to those who do not take care of their property, have rusting hulks on jackstands for six years and generally do not upkeep their property. The kind that would have issues living in HOAs. Finances have nothing to do with it. I know people with nothing but the home they rent is spotless inside and out.I am glad you enjoy it..just as we enjoy ours..It is sad you think those less fortunate are all trailer trash.. i too have means but dont brag about it.. nor look down my nose at those who dont..just sayin
