We currently have a Dometic refrigerator in our travel trailer. The issue is the freezer gets cold overnight but the refrigerator part doesn't get cold or stay cold once food is added into it. Right now it stays above 55 degrees inside. Set out the canopy to give some shade against the outside wall where the refrigerator is located but still will not cool down. Removed all the food from inside and temp dropped down to around 43 degrees but never got any colder. It has been running for 3 days now. Anyone experiencing this issue and how did you resolve it. If not what did you replace the Dometic model with. Thank You for your time.

When we had our old coach with the absorption fridge I added two computer fans to the lower louvers.

Fans could be unplugged, 12 volt, when coach was not in use.

They were set to blow in so we had extra air flow through the fridge back and up.

Made quite a difference in the overall performance.
