Alert Purina Pro Plan dog food issues

I picked up a bag of Purina Pro Plan weight management dog food when RVing in Raleigh, NC. I noticed bugs crawling in the food. Thinking maybe it got in from the RV or something I removed the 2-3 what appears like winged termites. Then going to get food for Elli again I see more. Nope. This bag is going back. I take it in and she asked “bugs?” Purina is having a storage problem and this is disgusting.

They gave me a new bag as I don’t want to cold turkey switch Elli’s food but this may be the last of Purina Pro Plan for me.

Pay attention to what’s in the bag if you use Purina!!!

You might try batches in the microwave. My understanding is nothing including nutrition can survive the radiation. But at least you won't be poisoning you dog to get rid of the problem.
