Recent widow here in Massachusetts' Pioneer Valley. My husband and I traveled up and down the East Coast for years but had to stop due to his declining health. Now that he's passed on I am starting a new chapter in my life as a single, deaf senior lafy and just bought a 13' TT that I'll be towing with a Ram 1500. My goal is to start with short trips and explore places in New England that don't involve FISH/ING. My husband lived to FISH and now it's my turn to have my kind of adventures!

The continent is huge. The opportunities are vast. Enjoy "your turn"!

Safe travels

Sorry about your husband, good luck and safe travels

It is hard to predict what will break next. Maintenance is good preventive insurance.

No matter if you have a 37-year-old BaRTH or a brand new Newmar or Newell. LIFE is going to throw a monkey wrench in your fun.

You will be fine and Rvforums will get you back on TRACK.

Sorry for your loss and CHEERS ahead!

Best wishes for your adventures!! Travel safe and have fun. Enjoy life!!

Sorry for your loss. Welcome to this group. May I suggest groups like the LOWs, and other loners groups to travel with. Many of us that are Transitioning are on the road, and lonely happens.

A resource when it overtakes you can also be found on the YouTube channel " cheap RV living"

May you listen to your spirit guides🙏🙏🙏

Thank you, and especially thanks for the suggestion. It's been many years since I've been on the forum and I still remember how helpful the members were. I'm glad that hasn't changed.

Thanks! I've already had to deal with a little hiccup - no hot water! The unit doesn't come with its own manual and it took a bit of fiddling before I figured out it was unplugged. Under the bed's platform which was fastened with four screws. Which also required pulling off the mattress. Having an all electric TT is going to be interestingly different than one using propane.
