We like space and privacy in our lives in general and primarily use our RV to avoid hotels and restaurants while on vacation. Our trips (ironically) usually involve motorcycle rallies and concerts in the Southeast, but we want solitude when we’re at the RV.
Since we don’t boondock, we are always in a campground when traveling. Most government run parks have widely spaced sites and are usually pretty quiet, which is great, but we constantly search for the most private campgrounds we can find.
What are your most spacious, most private campgrounds and parks that you visit?

Some of our favorites;
Lake Lurleen State Park
Big Lagoon State Park
Indian Point COE
Blue Angel Park

Oregon state parks along the coast are our favorites. Lots of campsite space and foliage between many sites. The thousand trails in Bend OR is a close second. Whalers Rest (Thousand Trails) on the OC is pretty good too.

We have found that most of the C O E parks give a person plenty of space. But we have yet to find one that offers 50A. Just 30.

Hmm, plenty of the gov’t sites in the Southeast offer 50A. Few have sewer hookups, though.
