We have an appointment in Nappannee on 8 Sept to sit down with Natalie Miller. If you’ve done this as part of your ordering process, what should we expect? I don’t fully understand this process.

I've only worked with Michelle Howard, but I would imagine it would be the same. She will show you the different floorings, fabrics, woods for whatever lines you are interested in and or upgrading to. If you have design specials she will add them to list to be approved. For example, something I learned the hard way. I added a fireplace and recliner and changed the windows. When I did that they removed a window that evidently I could have specialed back in. So ask questions, lots of questions. It's a good idea to do your research prior to your appointment and have a written list of specials you are interested in as well. It is so easy to forget things in the moment. They will also send your specials to any of the dealers you are sending build sheets to.

Good luck. So exciting.

Is Michelle Howard still doing design consults or has moved on to a different job?

I think she has moved up the ladder, responsibility wise, but don't know if she is still doing consultations. She was absolutely fabulous to work with.

I initially sent an email to what I believed was her email address. It was replied to by Michelle Kemp. (Same person? No idea.) At any rate, I was eventually turfed over to Natalie Miller.

Same as @ARD said. You’ll go in and it’s just a room with all of the samples. As you pick materials out, you’ll want to sort of stack and lean theM together against a wall to get an idea of how it all looks.

Bring all your questions. She’ll have most of the answers.

Who's day is it to watch @MapNerd? I didn't say anything...remember, talk slow and be patient, he may be suffering from pineapple deficiency syndrome!
