When I went to Camp Freightliner I learned that the only diesel additive Cummins allows is Diesel Kleen. There is one for normal use and one for anti-gel "arctic" use which is the white bottle. I thought of it this morning as I'm in Arizonaska (crazy cold) and heading north and I may need to consider getting a white bottle for anti-gel. I carry the gray bottles and use about every 3rd fill up.

White (arctic): Amazon.com: POWERSERVICE 1080 80 Ounce Diesel Fuel Supplement: Automotive

Normal: Amazon.com: Power Service Diesel Kleen + Cetane Boost - 12/32oz. Bottles: Industrial & Scientific

I also have and sometimes use (in the heat of summer) a biocide. I learned of this from a fellow Newmar owner I met when at FPU.

Amazon.com: FPPF 00119 KILLEM BIOCIDE 16 OZ. BOTTLE, TREATS 1920 GALLONS OF DIESEL FUEL PER BOTTLE: Automotive

What do you add to your diesel fuel and how often?

X2. Diesel kleen normal every other fill up.

By the way be careful in pulling the foil off the top when opening a bottle. I had one fall in and I just threw the bottle away. Wasn't going to chance it. Use something that allows you to cut and peel it away vs. pushing in so as not to get any of this foil into your fuel system.

Good tip, yeah that's a problem too.

First link is a “not found”

We use Diesel Kleen as well; every other fill-up. When wintering in Western Washington where only rarely do we get seriously old weather, we have not felt the need for the cold-weather version.

There are a lot of quality products like Diesel Kleen out there. I have a background in racing and have put a lot of products to extreme testing. I have been a proponent of Lucas products for a long time now and will swear by them. I use them in all of my equipment. The Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act forbids a manufacturer from requiring the use of a specific product (oil, antifreeze, cleaner additive, etc) in order to maintain a warranty unless the manufacturer supplies the product for free. So you can use any product you choose as long as you keep record of it. For example oil, you can use any brand you choose and your warranty will be in effect as long as you have records. Disclaimer- I don't sell any products, I don't get paid to use them its just my own personal experience I'm sharing. So if you like your stuff by all means keep using it, If you are looking for recommendations on product that I have had success with, well there you have it.

Bought 12-32 oz bottles from Amazon a couple of weeks ago. Lots of great reviews. Haven't used any yet as I haven't fueled up the MH yet.
