I put these bumpers on the back wall behind the toilet seats. I saw the wallpaper starting to wear. Don't wait until it's too late.

@MapNerd … can you post some pictures when you get a chance. Will help me understand what you did.

Away from the coach for the next couple of days but yes, will add some pics when I return

One of the cheap easy ideas I got from DS Don was how to stabilize the swivel chair in the DS and keep it from harming the floor seal on the FWS. But nothing really worked until I tried this:

It has been on the chair for 6 months now and the chair doesn’t rock on the seam and the poly seal is perfect. 98F29067-EE21-4BC7-B577-23A84E4D5FD7.jpeg

I know many of you have already done this modification, so I am just catching up. It’s sealing up the chassis battery compartment to keep the road dirt from getting in. Here is my version of it.

I used some HDPE 1/4" Starboard material, but I read where another person used a piece of conveyor belt and other folks have used rubber sheeting. Used some SS bolts to attach at the top and some zip ties at the bottom. So far it's keeping the battery compartment fairly clean.

@Akdare … I bought it on eBay. Just found a piece big enough for what I needed. There are probably other sources out there.

Everyone is so clever! Thanks for sharing. Now when I go back into my coach, I’ll be taking a good look at what I can add. Maybe something with the microwave. The clock at night lights up the whole coach. Too bright. You all have kicked in my creative thinking!

Dang it Neal, now I've got another Amazon delivery coming tomorrow. We use a stand up paper towel holder, but that one looks great!

BTW, here's a few small cheap mods I've done that have made our time in the coach better. First off, I hated that I couldn't see the controls for slides etc. without an external light. I tried motion lights to no avail, so I pulled the panel and redesigned it. Made the holes bigger and installed a couple of cheap LED strips behind to show through the labels on the panels. They are actuated by a magnetic switch on the door. Before and after pics.

Next, we were looking for a dish drainer that would fit in the small sink. Got a piece of ceiling grid from Lowes and cut it to fit the top lip of the sink.

Always looking for an extension cord outside and it's never where I left it... 40' recoil cord mounted in basement with 4 plex receptacle.

Don't know why Newmar installs two drink holders on the drivers armrest which moves the shifter back too far to use easily. Another trip to Lowes for some Oak cabinet material (they didn't have maple) covered the armrest and re cut the holes to move everything up. Also installed the window switch below on the vertical to clean things up. I put a small foldout drink holder on the dash. Also a chip clip on the park brake so it isn't disengaged by mistake.

Water bay faucets with flush hose and timer, SeeLevel monitor, and quick disconnect for the hot cold mixer. Shower head has fitting also.

I know there's a bunch more, but we're on the roof today doing a re seal.

Really nice mods @lostinfla ! I'm adding the strainer idea TODAY!

EDIT: Question, did you have to round off the edges of the grid so that it would fit in the curved sink?

I just laid the grid over the sink and used a sharpie to mark the cuts for the corners as close to the radius as I could. I used a pair of wire cutters to snip them off and finish with some sand paper. It fits in the lip for the original cover very nicely.

You can get at Home Depot if in stock. I am going to look at using some for house battery compartment.

There ya go @lostinfla spending our money now! Go ahead, provide a link to the extension cord retracting thing, gonna have to do that one!
