Good point. I have a small B&W Laser printer I can only connect directly or through wifi.We carry an HP Tango. It’s not Bluetooth though. Why the Bluetooth requirement? I’ve never even heard of a Bluetooth printer. That’s going to really limit your options I think.
I’m incredibly naive about this stuff but if you don’t want to hard wire I think you need wifi, Bluetooth or Apple play (for Apple products) in order to wirelessly hook up to a printer. Since there are times when we are without a wifi system I figured bluetooth would be the way to go. Am I wrong? We carry an HP Tango. It’s not Bluetooth though. Why the Bluetooth requirement? @Texas Clodhopper ... I sure need to do this as I am tired of replacing the ink cartridges just like you say. The one @redbaron mentions looks like a good one.I suggest a small laser printer unless you want to replace the ink cartridge before each trip since they will dry out from lack of use.
Ah. So some WiFi printers, including the HP Tango, are capable of emitting their own WiFi network that you can join in order to send print jobs to it, as well as joining existing ones. The tango is set up completely through the HP PrintSmart app. I don’t know if anything smaller and it can print color too. No scanning though.I’m incredibly naive about this stuff but if you don’t want to hard wire I think you need wifi, Bluetooth or Apple play (for Apple products) in order to wirelessly hook up to a printer. I use a canon IP110 that works great! It’s about 12 in long, 1” tall 6 in wide. It’s both BT & wired, 110vWe are not full timers but occasionally take 2-3 month trips in the rv. I would like to take a small black & white bluetooth printer with us for occasional printing of documents. Don’t really have a spot for storage so looking for a small footprint. Suggestions would be appreciated.
Have you looked at this one? https://www.staples.com/Canon-PIXMA-IP110-Wireless-Mobile-Inkjet-Printer-9596B002/product_1269944We are not full timers but occasionally take 2-3 month trips in the rv. Thank you so much for the photos - I have a similar cabinet and that is perfect!@redbaron ... thanks for the recommendation. It fits perfect. I bought it off Amazon.

Didn't know that either. Must be some serious heat, like death valley heat.Ok! So every time I needed to print, I had to get another cartridge. So I got a Lazer printer! Did you know that summer heat can melt the toner? I didn't, but now I do!
Buying a cartridge for a few(up to 100) pages makes a good idea bad.
My answer to the dilemma is a wifi connection, and a Staples office department! Never a fight, never a toner or ink issue. Just a high quality Lazer print job for a fraction of the wasted ink price!!!
