Front seats stuck rear facing

Our 2011 Itasca Reyo’s seats are stuck facing the rear. Anyone else ever have this problem? If so, how did you get them to swivel again?

Our 2011 Itasca Reyo’s seats are stuck facing the rear. Anyone else ever have this problem? If so, how did you get them to swivel again?

On my dutch star the lever for the swivel release is just pulling on a cable. The problem is the lever is plastic and doesn't age really well. The cable comes undone because the lever is deformed. I would check there, maybe you can grab the cable with pliers to release the mechanism if you have a similar setup?
