Does anyone travel with an ebike?

It took almost 2 weeks after I got my email so be patient. I have been riding mine a lot. The little bike is fast ... around 25mph. It goes faster in pedal assist than straight throttle. All you have to do is keep the pedals in motion and the power is on so be careful when you want to slow...

If Facebook listening to phone calls?

...getting it for $920. We discussed this via text message. I use signal, but most of the group uses standard sms apps, so the conversation was not encrypted. My Amazon suggestions now include several ebikes, and Facebook has ads for 1000w ebikes for under $200. Obvious scam, and derived from sms.

    My electric bike is here!

This morning, we loaded up the ebikes and headed to Parker Field, a large park with lots of paved areas to ride on. This was actually the first time Trish had been on hers and the first time I had ridden mine on anything but the driveway around here. And wow, these things are a BLAST! I...

    Question Fiver with multiple beds

...kids come in and out all day, they could be contained to the garage, while you and the dw enjoy the deck for observing the kids use up the endless energy. When their are no kids, you still have plenty of room for your ebikes, golf cart, etc. The deck patio is a nice feature and very versatile.

    Hundreds of E bike companies??????

...they ALL seem to use the same components? I am in the market for two this spring, but the different companies are mind boggling. Most of the ebikes I looked are HEAVY 75 to 80 LBS. Seat heights are high unless it's a step through. And now they have 1000 watt motors. I was going to go with a...

    Campground security - items stolen

Spoiler alert - ebikes stolen. This couple apparently had this happen more than once. Sadly this happened to some members here as well. We all learned from it, be sure you do as well. 1) Cameras! I cannot recommend higher to have a dashcam on your RV and also toad. Get the kind that can run...

    RVing with E-Bikes

Know this is an older thread but we are joining the eBike crowd. Ordered 2 of the MokWheel Asphalt (one ST for the wife and the other normal for me). They were on sale for $1499 and we saved about $1900 on extras ($1300 worth of addons for $200 - free $500 bike trailer that a friend can use -...

Exploring first Travel Trailer RV purchase

From your considered approach, our experience might be blasphemous! Our primary criteria was a fixed bed with access from both sides. We found a USED 4 year-old Winnebago Minnie FL 2500 (?) for $19,000. Winnebago has a good reputation with the local RV maintenance experts, and in 3 years of...

    New Aspire owner

Thanks!!. We're excited. Question, can we get a bike(or2) in the storage compartments? Probably gonna get an ebike to make store runs on short weekend trips. On longer trips we will have a tow vehicle.

    My RV dream realized

Here she is! I never thought I would buy a C - but she isnt that long, and the storage! Now, question - to tow or not to tow my 2014 Honda CRV. If tow, recommendations for tow bar? If not tow - Ebike? thoughts?

    Question Bike Rack Recommendation

I have 2 folding fat tire ebikes and no longer wanted to put them inside my suv. I wanted a bike rack setup where I could easily move the bike rack from the suv to the rig while on the road and when we know we’re not going to use the bikes for a few days. I decided on the heavy duty Thule...

    E-Bike update?

I got a "dirt bike" carrier. The wheel base is close to the ebike and they have a ramp that comes with it. You need a 2" trailer hitch for it to fit into. No lifting. I modified mine with a post for better securing the bike. Also I got a barbeque cover to protect it from the rain when...

    Bicycle Storage

We use a dual hitch for the ebike rack (We have a steep driveway and scrape otherwise). The only draw back we have is the bikes are heavier than normal bikes, thus the on and off is more involved. Use to be lifting 70 lbs to eye level was no big deal...but now I must make strange noises to...

72v li ion battery from e bike to use as a battery

I am new here and new to rving. I have a 72v li ion ebike battery with a 110v charger that I would like to use for a battery for the rv. Is this possible. I know I need to step down the voltage. I have a generator to charge it using the 110v charger. Here are the battery specs. What...

    Tip Apple AirTags

...for 2-3 months now. If she ever got away or stolen it may be a means to help find her. But let's talk about some other uses. I put one in my eBikes bike bag which is locked into its holder. I could also use double sided tape and put one under the seat or some obscure location. It could help...

Where were you with your NEWMAR today?

...hit reverse so darn quick and drove it like I stole it to get away. Black bear will chase you down. Brown will run away if given the opportunity. Finally -- E-BIKES in the woods are a sure way to get eaten. Do not ride ebikes in the woods, and never alone. Stay in a group and make plenty of...

    E-Bike update?

Thank you for your reply. That sounds like it would work. My new motor home came with a bike rack built on the back. The rail’s about 30” off the ground, I will need to work with that .
