    TPMS

I’ve had a TST system for 10+ years and really like it. My only problem is my high frequency hearing loss is so bad I can’t hear the alarm so I had to mount the unit up high where the flashing red light will catch my eye. Another good reason to have a monitor system is the ease of checking tire...

    Tire pressure monitors

Welcome to RVForums @crow3051 if I didn't already welcome you. This site has a great search tool on the upper right. This is a quite common question. Click here for a search and see if this helps.

Question New to RVing. Upgrade truck?

Just so you don't run out of things to consider Charles. One other thing I will toss out there is getting a TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) for those TT tires. I think it is about the biggest piece of RV safety equipment anyone can invest in. Most systems are simple buttons that screw...

    TOAD TPM System

Good morning, forum. My question today is what do y'all use to monitor the tire pressures on your tow vehicle while driving? Of course would prefer something wireless but is signal strength an issue? Thanks!

    Tire Monitoring System

I doubt you understand what a TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) is. You are confusing it with the OEM system that most of our non-RV vehicles have on them where you will get that lame tire symbol on the dash when one of your tires are low. For years commercial truck-tractor-trailers have...

Question When to replace RV tires?

...I take great precaution with my tires from tire pressure being on the plus side of the charts by 10 or so PSI. I use a tire pressure monitor. I keep them covered (which I think is more on the gimmick side as sun damage would take years I believe and combined with non use). I will evaluate at...

    Question TIRE PRESSURE ADVICE?

I have a TST 507 TPMS w/ 10 sensors to monitor the coach and "toad"! Just set it up yesterday, getting ready to go to Newmar, the first week of August. Had an RVI TPMS to go with the RVI brake system, but the sensors were not reliable, as they would lose contact. So not very reliable...

    Question New TOAD research

A "TPMS" is a tire pressure monitoring system and, in my opinion, it is an essential piece of safety equipment for RVers. Here's why. Low tire pressure causes tire heating and increases the risk of a blowout. Even if you check your tire pressures faithfully each time you get ready to hit the...

I really like that display Gizmo. EZ to read. Nice color. Why replace the TST unit? I thought TST was supposed to be the Cadillac of tire pressure monitors??

    Tire pressure monitors

I have had two events with tires and both times I notice the one tire pressure increasing more than the other tires. A quick check of the temp and temp higher than the other tires I pulled over before the alarm told me that the tire come apart and damaged my RV. I agree that the TST is too...

    TPMS

Hello, new to the site. We just purchased our first fifth wheel (Artic Wolf), and couldn't be more excited!! Forest River Impression Tire Pressure

Use the pressure stated on the tire. It’s that simple. Mine are 65 psi. The other thing you will want to buy and almost I would say a 100% necessity is TPMS for your RV. I use TST. It also monitors temperature which is critical and usually is directly affected by air pressure drop.

New to Camping, New to Forum Tire Troubles

I can’t recommend a particular tire but I do have a few recommendations that hopefully will help. 1. I know you said you check your pressure, but do you also check your weights? The pressure you should use is not necessarily what is printed on the sidewalll, but should be pressure associated...
