...reverse direction. I took my bus to my local truck tire store and asked them to reverse the outside duel stem. Nope. It won’t accommodate the TPMS inside the rim. The next time I am at Prevost, I am going to get to the bottom of this and get the right answer.
Getting that cap back on is...
My freightliner manual says to follow instructions in the Valor TPMS manual to set the temp warning limits. Has anyone found instructions? I don't even know if we have Valor TPMS on the 2022 DS 4081 since the pressures are displayed on the Opti View instrument panel. There is a lot of...
The only reason I like TPMS is for the possible road debris. Otherwise every stop I make (seems to be more often as I age), axles and tires get at minimum a visual. At least one stop in 300 miles gets a hand on both, hub, and tire. There is nothing that can replace proper maintenance and...
I’m usually traveling 1 day each 10 - 20 days. I pick either the day before or two days most. As soon as I get up I turn on my TPMS and check the tires. Any variance over 2-3 lbs. I correct.
I recommend looking at
Tire Safety and TPMS | Tire Pressure Monitors | TechnoRV.
They seem to have good pricing and I have used their Tech support, called for Info, a couple of times with great results.
Always use metal valve stems with TPMS. My previous MH cam with plastic valve stem extenders fir the duallies. one cracked and leaked before I even got to install the TPMS.
I set the pressure to the TPMS. After a time the tires will vary by 1-2 pounds from each other. I am not ocd about it. As long as they are 97 -100 lbs, I am good. Of course that is cold. I am using TST 507. I think less fiddling with the tire valve is better.
To be honest I rely on the TPMS system most of the time for daily checks on a trip, unless there has been a significant environmental change temp/altitude.
Normally I run +5 to +10 psi from the recommended pressure for current weight, but not over Max recommended tire pressure.

Wow. A pretty thorough list. Much better than a dealer would do. The new owner is a lucky person.
Maybe adding Jacks and leveling. I don't think I saw them listed. Do you have a wifi booster installed? TV and satallite?

I went to a couple of tire shops today to see about metal stems on the toad. My 2015 Jeep Cherokee trailhawk has an on-board tpms in addition to the eez tire sensors I run on the toad valve stems for flat towing. To change out to a compatible stem for my vehicle was expensive. They (Big O)...
I have a new 2022 Newmar Dutch Star 4369. First trip abandoned after experiencing TPMS warnings of 178 and 180 for the inside rear tires. I checked the forums, which suggested faulty readings on the TPMS, but the smell of burning rubber has me thinking the TPMS was accurate. I am stunned the...
Congrats
We have a 2016 Canyon Star.
1. Plug in is fine, we've have a progressive 50Amp
2. We use a 5/8 ID water hose, Renator adjustable regulator
3. Never used chocks
4 Have TPMS and Viair 450P-RV
FWIW (which isnt much) they have a new supplier for DEF headers. Shaw Development is apparently no longer the supplier. After 14 years of mandated crap, technology has finally caught up with the requirements so I think we’ll start seeing a lot fewer strandings due to faulty sensors.
...to be at 65F. When it isn’t that cool (or warm) this helps me understand how much variance I can expect to see. This also helps explain why TPMS systems don’t complain when the tire temp climbs 10F, if there is a corresponding temperature change.
For instance, our front steer tires have a...
