Due to the wide variety of bikeracks and the unique shape of RVs it’s not a simple task to select a camper bike rack. Bikeracks can vary in the number bikes and types of bikes they can accommodate. Also they are not compatible with all types of vehicles. So in order to search for the best RV...
Ok, this may not be made any longer, but if anyone knows of a bike rack which can mount on the tow bar, or an extension of the tow bar which will allow bikes to be carried. Please send links in reply. Found some years ago, think swagman is the only one, and theirs dont look heavy enough...
Hello, my name is Darwin Neal. Today I asked myself a question I often wondered if I'd ever ask myself: "Where did my bike go?"
Today I left Vegas northbound for an absolutely spectacular drive. On I-15N taking in the amazing views of snowcovered mountains and driving through old stomping...
To save others the hunt, that one is 88 lbs. My Trek Powerfly 4 is in the 40-45 lb range, it is painful to put on/off the rack. While I really enjoy the e-bike I really also enjoy my Trek Marlin 7 non e-bike. It's lightweight and a joy to ride. I have a little regret in getting the e-bike unless...
You might want to make sure your bicycle carrier is recommended to be mounted on a towed trailer/vehicle. Many manufacturers will void any warranty if it is not rated.

This bike rack is about 3-4 years old, has a few rust spots, and has one broken buckle that can easily be replaced. So, in reality, this is currently a 3 bike rack. It works great...
This RV is in great condition and only has 44,000 miles. An aftermarket Kenwood media system was installed - Android Auto compatibility, dashcam, backup cam. Purchase includes hitch mounted cargo carrier, hitch mounted bike rack and other camping accessories. This Camper Van has been stored...
I’ve found that etrailer.com has good reviews and recommendations on bikeracks for RV vehicles. We purchased a bike rack for 2 bikes from them. Finding a bike rack for 4 bikes would be more difficult.
I bought a Thule Easy Fold XT 2. It was one of a very few that were rated to carry our two e bikes on our toad (Jeep JK). The carrier works great but hitch tensor (the part you tighten to make sure there is no wobble) was junk. I almost lost our bikes twice because the threads on the...
For anyone shopping for an e-bike be sure to understand the weight of the bike and that you'll need to be able to load/unload it. Some bikeracks offer ramps. These bikes are significantly heavier than traditional non e-bikes.
We also look for trails near our travels. There are so many that we would have had to pass up had we not invested in our e bikes. Many that we would have passed up even before our e bikes now are easy to ride, One of the most amazing was San Gabriel Canyon Road AKA Rt 39 not far from San...
We had our Cherokee wired for a toad. The wiring harness they used had an additional 4 pin connector for the light bar I added to the bike rack.
We used the stay and play braking system so I could control the level of surge before the jeep brakes come on. It isn’t going to help stop 38k much...
Thank you for the excellent response, David. A lot has happened since my original post and I ended up going with a 1up USA super duty rack.

It's more expensive than most other racks but it's really high quality and SO easy to use...
The e-bikes are compelling for sure. They look like a ton of fun! One question I have is what is the best way to carry them? Do you use a bike rack on the back of your toad? Are there special bikeracks for e-bikes?
We've been happy with this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09T9BCPNS/?tag=rvf01-20
120# capacity, sturdy and easy on/off. If we're hauling our toad and bikes.. the bike rack goes on the Jeep.
Going by carrying capacity, many racks are light weight. Put them on the rear of a coach where...
We use a 1-up rack for our bikes.
Rated for behind RV or Toad, etc.
Also weight rated for E-bikes.
They have a bunch of models with different weight ratings or fat tires etc.
