How is a 2023 Superstar on a 2024 Freightliner chassis? When I checked the VIN, it states it is a 2024 chassis but its the 2023 and earlier style, and its a 2023 Superstar......confusing?

Even with the Superstar which is 360 hp and more torque, on a 7% grade going up we are at 35 or so.
As stated unless you get maybe the Supreme air or perhaps the Superstar with the 450 now you will be going slow in the mountains.
They will do it all day long though.
Posted a longer thread as to why but the epoxy on the SuperStar fuel doors can fail (both portions on our 22 have while parked) and the door can come completely off without unlocking.
Would be a nice upgrade to have flush head through bolts for the door connection to the hinge and painted to...
Just wanted to pass this along to other owners to watch for the issue.
When we picked up our 22 SuperStar Dec 27, 2022, the lower epoxy on the driver side fuel door had to be fixed since it was loose.
They corrected that with new epoxy, and we were on our way following the rest of the...
I assume it is booked solid?
EDIT: Never mind, I went to their website and I see that you can still book sites at the resort. But damn! They like their sites!
I know the ones I have come down in our Superstar, with the engine brake on high, I’ve actually had to push the suggestion pedal as it was slowing me down too much.
Guess I should consider myself lucky with the weight, etc of our setup.
Same on our Superstar.
They do add a caveat about checking the reveal (and as mentioned if not on level ground) to try putting jacks down to level then do the slides - at least in our manual it is written that way.
Have ours top center of the windshield and works fine.
Our Superstar came with the universal toll transponder (haven’t activated) that is actually mounted behind one of the upper cabinets (forward facing ones).
Would be nice if they folded in the Superstar / Supreme Air lines into the FCCC as well.
Since the chassis is done by Transwest they are not “officially” Freightliner Custom Chassis’ as far as getting in the app, etc.
Yeah, the chassis batteries do charge differently than the house so the voltage can be a bit different.
At least it is that way in our Superstar with 8 lead acid house batteries and two agm chassis batteries.
Our auto gen start is set for 12.2 on the chassis and something a bit lower in the...
I loved my 4369 Ventana. Yes I plotted my drives and my stops but I always do. Now that I have a 37' Superstar I see little difference except the 4369 had a better turning radius. A friend has a 45' Showhauler and its not a vehicle that turns well.
