I truly love my Canyon Star "3710". Ideal for the two of us! And with the addition of LiquidSpring suspension, drive, rides & handles fantastic! No desire to replace!
The "blower" is a great idea, and I will probably use it next week! Got to get it washed, waxed, & ready to go to Tampa, but...
If you are in Ohio already I’d recommend the factory in Indiana for the install.
There are other installers around but not a bunch that install on RVs.
We had a great experience with the install at the factory.
I would agree about the Ventana, but would bet there would be a significant increase in price.
This LiquidSpring IS an Independent suspension, computer controlled, on all 4 corners. Thus the significant ride enhancement!
...ride!
They do diesel suspension/ airbags, etc too!
But, if you have a "gas" coach; a biggie is, they are an excellent installer for "Liquid Spring" four corner, or rear only suspension! Excellent work, fantastic attention to detail, and just an all around great company!
Call and speak with...
...maximum, tire pressures, which will improve the ride!
And if you want the ultimate ride/handling, you could do as I did, & install "Liquid Spring" four corner suspension!
About $25K, but rides, drives, & handles like a big SUV!! Fantastic!!
Good Luck, enjoy your coach, and may you have...
Well I just pulled the trigger today on LiquidSpring… going to a highly recommended dealer / installer in New Jersey. We picked up our brand new Baystar from the dealer and took it on a trip to Florida from NY. We took 81 down and that sealed the deal for me ....install scheduled for mid...
...regular highways, byways, and curvy mountain roads; I must say that I am extremely HAPPY with the ride, handling, & performance of my "Liquid Spring" suspension!
We traversed smooth pavement, concrete (with expansion joints), slurry surfaces, & tar/gravel roads too! The ride and handling were...
Thank you for the input. Yes, it will be a bumpier ride for sure. I do see some people install "liquid spring" ( not sure it is the correct term) to have their truck do higher or lower so I would assume it also improves the ride. Does Fiat make puck-up trucks/ chassies? I do not see them on...
...Those are solid hard rubber, with little, if any compression!
I had them on my Canyon star, & believe they did serve to somewhat soften the impact on bridge transitions!
However, they were removed when I had "Liquid Spring" suspension installed on my coach! Now it rides like a Cadillac...
Neal, timely topic for myself..we have a 2022 Baystar 3014 with LiquidSpring we have decided to sell, we have bought a winter home in southeast Florida on this trip, we may in the future look to buy a most likely a used Newmar diesel pusher...I am doing my research now on what to set as a price...
...at no cost to me!
I did have Newmar's "Tech Serv" Mobile RV Service come by the house and do a minor repair to the Coach!
After having "Liquid Spring" suspension installed on my Canyon Star, I would not trade it for a new comparable "DP"!!
After 3 1/2 years of ownership, & 23,000+ miles...
Hi Gunny, Can you tell me where you had your LiquidSpring suspension system installed? We have a 2022 Nexus Triump and 3 trips from Ohio to Colorado on Interstate 80 thru Illinois have "beat the hell" out of everything in the unit. You name it we have tightened or replaced it. I have heard...
...steering stabilizer, an Ulra-Trac track bar, & added Sumo front springs!
Oh what an improvement over the stock suspension! Not a "DP" ride but huge improvement over any "stock" gas coach!
I may bite the bullet & install "Liquid Spring" suspension, front & rear, expensive, but will be worth it!:)
...the spring he was so unhappy with the ride he called his dealer to inquire about trading it in for DP. Dealer recommended he look into LiquidSprings which he did and had installed early August at the factory. He is also a believer having driven about 2000 miles since installation.
He said...
!
I believe that sooner than later to list and sell is key. Best of luck, we did the same, sold and purchased a vacation hose now we are back………RVing is an addiction 😉
...the heaviest allowable cargo capacity.
After 3 years, loaded with everything we carry, "DI" washer, power washer, ladders, etc, etc, & "Liquid Spring suspension; while at the "NKK International" we had the coach weighed at all 4 corners. Total weight now is 25,060, on a 26,000 GVWR chassis...
...I'm biased, but all one needs to do, is compare it to any other "gas" Coach manufacturer! I've looked at all of them.
By having added LiquidSpring suspension to my coach, I have, without a doubt, the finest riding "gas" coach in the entire RV Industry. A bold statement, but just drive one...
...Suspension, but we installed Supersteer heavy front sway bar, SuperSteer Front Radius Rods, Safe-T- Plus , Koni Front Shocks, and a LiquidSpring Rear Suspension. The RV was rock steady and stable. The radius rods improved "turn in" incredibly. No delay in turns especially on local roads...
FORD F-53 SUSPENSION COMPONENTS;
I had LiquidSpring Suspension installed on my 2020 Newmar Canyon Star, and do not need the aftermarket suspension components I added to it.
Koni Shocks, front #8805-1018, rear #8805-1019, will fit 1998-current. $120 each, $480. New ones are $170 each...
