Buying used Class A— seeking advice.

Idea of older coaches having bugs worked out, depreciated and things is got its points. Yes maybe out of warranty but you can get extended warranty. I think your research has provided what manufacturer have a good reputation and would stick with that. May end up being 5 years old instead of...

Purchase extended warranty on used Winnebago?

First of all, IMHO that original purchaser didn't negotiate a very good deal on the extended service plan when he originally bought the RV. Secondly, a CW warranty is the last one you should purchase. Most of their stores are famous for doing shoddy work on rigs.

    Extended and maintenance warranties

...I decided against it. Mine was $7,500. if you have that money set aside and growing in an investment, my thought is to forgo the extended warranty and pay for whatever breaks. If you are not good at saving or don‘t have the extra cash (just in case) then financing an extended warranty might...

Question Do you do your OASIS service EVERY year?

Sure. Understood. I guess the question would be what actual item is. For example, you will see an oil change suggested for 6 months, yet not a single (honest) shop said that was necessary until a year at the soonest. I realize it’s a big gamble if you don’t do the research first.

Purchase extended warranty on used Winnebago?

So that is like, 39 hours of labor at 150 an hour. The rig is over a year old. Miles??? Drive train warranty, likely factory manufacturer warranty. CW reputation?

    NIRVC Manufacturers Defects Per Unit

Good evening. I will apologize for the length of this post before I even start writing it. There is simply no short concise way to explain what NIRVC is trying to share with the public. Sharing our Defects Per Unit (DPU) with the public on our website is really the first of three reports we...

Should you purchase a extended warranty?

...you can, but not very often. Again, I am from the Automobile world, not RV's. I really am not sure that RV Manufactures offer a extended warranty. Just know that most "automobile" extended "Service Contracts" have specific items they cover, IF it is not listed, it is not covered, so read the...

...coach by vin but each coach has a coach number, typically 6 digits that they typically use for referring to your coach. As to the extended warranty you can search this forum for opinions. My opinion was and is to not do it. Spend the money on a RV inspector in a pre-buy instead and then...

    Question Extended Warranty

...IF you have one or two claims, they usually pay for themselves! And until I bought the first coach, I had never bought any type extended warranty! But repairs, electronics, a/c units, and other replacement items, can get expensive in a hurry! Everyone's mechanical knowledge, ability, & needs...

    Question Extended Warranty/Service Plan Providers

We got the extended because in “writing” it covers everything for 5 years. That is four years beyond manufacturer warranty. I do plan on doing a lot of my own basic stuff. However, I don’t want to pay out of pocket for my AC unit and labor to install. Our warranty covers more than a few...

    DEF pump and filter.....this time

Well at least Mercedes extended their emissions warranty. I’ve talked to FL and Daimler about it and of course they aren’t too keen on the idea, but FL is a Daimler company just like Mercedes. I’m not done with this but I admit it’s wearing me down a bit.

Should you purchase a extended warranty?

When it comes to Vehicles I'm a Ford guy. When I buy I know how log I intend to keep the vehicle. If I'm going past the factory warranty I will get an extended service plan that Ford offers and no after market. I also took one out on our Travel Trailer we bought in May of 2020.

    Pepwave or ???

Are you asking what a PrimeCare subscription offers? If so, it's more than an extended warranty. It allows you to access SpeedFusion Cloud and Remote Management services.

Purchase extended warranty on used Winnebago?

...mean to be rude, purchased brand new rv from them and regretted every moment we spent in it! Honestly if your interested in an extended warranty do some research there’s companies out there! I used Forever Warranty, yeah it costs me $199 a year for an inspection but I’ve used it four times...

    Instrument warnings

I had a warning light pop on back in Ohio. I stopped and bought one of those plug in diagnostic tools to see if I should worry and it went out. Warning lights are like those people who keep calling and offering an extended warranty. They just want you to spend money.

    Question Questions before buying.

I have questions about purchasing a travel trailer, which is imminent. Pros / cons to new or used. Whether to purchase an extended warranty, and if it’s best to get it from the dealer or a 3rd party? Also, is it advantageous to look for a dealer with many locations throughout country? Thanks!

    Pre-purchase inspection in Orlando

...It was a basic inspection (condition and operating systems). I don't think it was too detailed. The second one was from the extended Warranty company covering my coach. It was much more detailed and included in the contract. Approximate cost was $500. Had I known they were going to...

Head gasket replacement in Newmar Ventana - ISL 9

...roadside and not the engine that can be extended out 60 months or 100K miles for roughly 1700.00. I am wondering if the existing extended warranty I already have which is 5 years or 50k miles would cover the chassis as well. I will have to check that. @Neal, how many miles on your Ventana?

Darn I hate doing this! I don't like posting on introduction threads. Why? Because no one else benefits from the answers that search for the same questions. Please start a new post with your questions, Because others that have answers can read the title and know what is wanted and respond. . And...
