I have spent zero time in the Northeast. We are looking to correct that next summer. We will be spending July and Aug somewhere up there. The only thing I have nailed down is two weeks in Bar Harbor Maine the first couple of weeks of Aug. Other than that, nada. Help a poor southerner out and give me some suggestions for must-see places. The only guideposts I can give you is we have no interest in big cities. Domo.

So I have a Onan 400 generator in my older motorhome that I am selling, its in a 1996 fleetwood Jamboree. We have owned it for 7 years and it has been somewhat tempermental. Is there still a wife ranger rep on the forum? I have a 23 fleetwood frontier with wifi ranger, Spruce. At REV service in April a tech signed me onto the wifi at REV to show me how to do it. But, I had bigger issues going on and couldn't really follow. And I only had a Amazon fire to do it with. The text was so tiny. So now I have a laptop and a 10"android tablet on board. We like space and privacy in our lives in general and primarily use our RV to avoid hotels and restaurants while on vacation. Our trips (ironically) usually involve motorcycle rallies and concerts in the Southeast, but we want solitude when we’re at the RV. Since we don’t boondock, we are always in a campground when traveling. Well we left AL and headed to Fl. Traffic around Atlanta was brutal. You name it an accident then construction RT 75 south was a nightmare. I picked out a spot approximately half way. This run was 385 miles. Lane Southern Orchards is an absolutely beautiful stop. Huge parking lot but no hookups. Beautiful store and restaurant or cafe for breakfast and lunch. Plus it was only 5 miles off the highway. They are located at Fort Valley GA. Got 350 miles to go, should hit Aburndale FL camp...

Hi Guys: well we drove 1000 miles to get to red Bay. I had a few scratches in my paint and some items that have to be taken care of before our warranty ran out. Total we spent 12 days in red Bay at the Bob Tiffin Service Center. And as always, the service was outstanding to say the least. Our Service tech Brian Wilkinson for our coach went above and beyond the call of duty. Using “city water” my kitchen faucet flows noticeably stronger using hot water rather than cold. The bathroom sink and shower flow steadily regardless of temp. The difference is very noticeable.

We recently traded our beloved Coleman Rubicon 1200RK for a Coachman Catalina Summit 134RKX. While we really enjoyed our 1200RK (as an intro into towed camping), it's nice to be able to stand up, in the camper! (we jokingly called the Rubicon the "Hard-Sided Sleeping Bag" or "The Cramper") Taking it out, locally, for its inaugural trip, in next week. As always, looking forward to sharing of hints, tips, concerns, etc.

I picked up a bag of Purina Pro Plan weight management dog food when RVing in Raleigh, NC. I noticed bugs crawling in the food. Thinking maybe it got in from the RV or something I removed the 2-3 what appears like winged termites. Then going to get food for Elli again I see more. Nope. This bag is going back.
