I am toying with the idea of heading to Naples this winter, Jan thru March and enjoying pickleball, etc. I've been to Pelican Lakes circa 2018 and Naples Motorcoach Resort, both of which were very nice. I priced out Pelican Lake and it's 1-2K more per month than Silver Lakes. I welcome any opinions on where to stay, pro's/con's etc.
I have a LiTime 2000 watt inverter and two LiTime 100aH Batteries that can run my Furrion Chill Cube for up to 3 hrs. I also have many other upgrade videos on the channel.
I hate hearing my water pump, especially when it's loud and obnoxious. It was suggested early on to replace the pump that came in the coach, that was probably a mistake but I did and have been on a mission since to find the perfect water pump. I've tried rubber pads, noise dampening, etc. Pumps either later came out with vibration dampening grommets or I just didn't come across the right pump until my latest over a year ago which is the REMCO 55-AQUAJET-ARV 5 GPM water pump to replace my 3.4...
We have a 2019 Forest River Vibe Extreme Lite. The toilet always stinks when we flush. Could we install a regular toilet with a p-trap rather than continuing to use our RV toilet?

Was out on the road for a couple of weeks, meeting up with the kids, grand kids, who pulled their trailer up to Northern California, as we pulled ours down from Whidbey Island, WA. Only had a few days to get ready as we we had flown off to South Carolina to look at properties. Really loved upstate in the greater Greenville area. Flew into Charleston, then drove across the state and flew back from Nashville. Things sure are cheaper back there! Had a great time with the kids, sorta...

Automatic Step or Steps, I could not get my steps to retract. No it was NOT the door switch. It was a rusty poor ground. The door light will tell you. I changed the brain. No go. Follow your instinct. Bad ground is usually the electrical anomaly on older rigs. When I unplugged the main four-prong power cord on my Kwikee Steps the door light wavered from poorly lit to finally going out shortly after the reconnection. Seems to me like an internal testby the step brain If your steps...
Traveling to Connecticut coast from Florida this August. Probably final trip in Dutch Star. We have our stops through north GA. Stop at Harvest Moon in Adairsville every trip north. Then on to Rt81 N. Any recommended stops through PA? In PA we have another traditional stop, Pine Hill RV Park, before NJ. We can make from there to Riverdale Farms, Clinton CT, our resting spot before returning home. Riverdale is a bit rustic and basic by our standards but it works for the family we are...
What are those of you who are out glamping or camping on July 4th seeing as park occupancy? We are staying closer to home this summer due to some medical appointments, but we decided on Monday to go to the Houston area to visit the kids. I thought I would see if I would luck out and get a spot at one of our favorite parks in the Sam Houston National Forest. I was shocked to find 12 out of a total of 47 full hookup 50 amp sites open. This park is located on Lake Conroe, which is less than...
Other than the obvious - romex is cheaper. Does anyone have any thoughts on choosing one over the other?
Thread 'RZ Durango 321rkt 2025 brand new.'

New guy here. I have tried several black tank solutions to break down waste and they kind of work. I need some suggestions on the best chemical to use in my black tank. Thanks for any help in advance.

One of the most relaxing and enjoyable, least eventful vacation have had. Left 6/9 am, travelled 585 miles to Broken Bow NE, spent the night in our camper on a TS lot WITH Approval, continued on thru Alliance(First Fuel stop) to head N to Custer SD and prearranged campsite at Ft Welikit, EXCELLENT Site. Tree lined, Shaded, stayed cool even as in a Drought conditions period. Did have some light rains but overall fantastic six nights exiting 6/13 for return home. Made tours of Close By...
I picked up one of these as the people that travel a whole bunch seen to have this or the larger version. I spent all day yesterday with AI(its really not that good) learning about file types and converting Gmaps etc. The bottom line was the 795 would not read the files, even when converted and installed into the installed memory. The 64G card I have is a brick it seems, even after getting a long lesson in Fat32 and programs to force the format as my WIn10 won't do more then 32G.....lol. I...
Has anyone installed a 12 volt air conditioner on their truck camper & how has it performed? We live & camp in Missouri & have to have reliable air conditioning LOL
Is one better than the other, or they pretty much the same.
This article Public Wi-Fi: how dangerous is it really? does a pretty good job at explaining public Wi-Fi, like what you'd find at RV parks, libraries, Starbucks, grocery stores etc. Basically, if you ensure your web browser shows it's connected using HTTPS, you're not allowing eavesdroppers to see anything to steal.
Working on a trip to Custer SD from Scottdale AZ. Return from Custer to home we plan to visit friends in Durango. Looking at the map I'd like to run I25 down to 285 around Denver and then over through Pagosa Spring and on to Durango. Looking for an overnight about half way and any advice/opinions on the planned route. I'd like to get through Denver and stay somewhere along 285 but options look sparse. Is there a better route? Lets hear options.... Thanks!!!!!
Thread 'Utah Trip'
We arrived home this past Monday and ended an amazing trip to Utah. We wanted to visit the 5 main NP and Monument Valley. We had a month in Utah and it seemed to not be enough but we visited a lot of places on the way out, while in Utah and the return trip. Sandia Crest was great, the tram was not running due to high winds so a drive up. Wild horses at 4 Coners Monument was a nice treat. Big horn sheep at Colorado National Monument, I assume big horn. I wanted to ride as real as possible...
