    TPMS Max and Min pressures

Our EezTire TPMS manual suggests the high pressure alarm parameter be set 20% above the normal cold tire pressure and the low-pressure alarm parameter be set at 10% below normal cold tire pressure. I think that is pretty standard. I’m surprised that the manual for whatever TPMS unit you are...

How do I get the Toad TPMS talk to the Coach TPMS

Don't have our new coach yet but I went the separate TPMS route for the toad. 99% of the time we take the / a toad however may from time to time take a trailer or potentially an alternate toad. Given the potential for alternate configurations regarding our toad a separate TPMS seemed to make the...

EEZTire for me. Works great! No RV owner should be without a good TPMS.

    Tire pressure and temperature

...to be at 65F. When it isn’t that cool (or warm) this helps me understand how much variance I can expect to see. This also helps explain why TPMS systems don’t complain when the tire temp climbs 10F, if there is a corresponding temperature change. For instance, our front steer tires have a...

Problem 2022 Dutch Star High Tire Temperature

…and because it is only reading high on the inside duals, it really seems like it‘s indicating high heat there that is caused by some factor other than tires or the TPMS.

Problem 2022 Dutch Star High Tire Temperature

OEM TPMS is useless. I ignore it and have TST TPMS that I use. I am pretty sure the antenna issue was addressed by Spartan previously. Sounds like you have a plan which will get it addressed. I would see about getting the coached weighted it sounds like your rear tires maybe over inflated...

Ok, EEZ TPMS. Y’all have convinced me. But...

my CDO requires that I also carry a good tire pressure gauge. Anybody got a favorite? ( CDO is a lot like OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order, the way they’re supposed to be!)

Alert TPMS SENSORS ON RUBBER STEMS MAY CAUSE VALVE STEM FAILURE!

...you say you've gone120k miles, I've got a gut-feeling that you've 1) replaced your stems with metal ones, or 2) have been very fortunate and/or have been routinely replacing your stems; not a common practice in many tire shops, ever since the advent of factory TPMS sensors requiring specialy...

Welcome aboard! If you have a black tank clean out hookup I would also get a dedicated hose for back flushing it as well. Basic tools to work on a RV to keep in the underbelly. If it did not come equipped with TPMS…..to me a must have no questions asked.

FYI On a recent trip a Valve stem on the tow failed

I had a slow leak in right tag tire, it ended up being a failed o-ring in the TPMS sensor itself. It can be anything.

    Good TPMS?

It is a type of TPMS that allows you to connect to a schrader valve on the end of it to fill your tire without having to remove the TPMS sensor. https://tsttruck.com/507-series-flow-thru-sensor-single.html And like everywhere else, they raised their prices it seems. Used to be $50 I believe.
