    Tile Shortage?

@Underboss ... I was curious so I just went out and looked in my current coach that came with theater seating and the tile only goes half way back. One picture is looking under the seat and the other is looking straight down behind the seat at the back wall.

    Tile Shortage?

@Jim ... figured I’d chime in with my opinion as well. I think the answer you’re gonna get is what @Neal said, it’s a weight consideration. We’ve ordered multiple Newmar motorhomes and did participate in what kind of specials we wanted, but were never asked about how far the tile runs back. I...

    Spartan chassis owners, be aware.

Just curious as to what's going on with the Newmar/Spartan VIN issue. It was all over FB and the RV forums a while back and then just went silent. Does that mean it has been resolved?

    Spartan chassis owners, be aware.

I saw this on FB earlier today ... now I know what it must be about.

FYI Starlink offering $5/mo emergency service subscription

Probably none of us know, but was just wondering how many of their current subscriptions actually use the pause function. This may only affect a small percentage of their overall customers (mostly us RV'er types) so they can probably weather any bad PR that results from this change. I just...

How important is a concrete parking pad?

@redbaron ... Looks like Grizzly out in West Yellowstone to me? Will be there in September. FLSteve

    Integrated touch screen system

Keep us posted on what you wind up doing to get the thing working. Just curious if it's different from what I have. FLSteve

    Be careful out there!

@Jim … very unfortunate and disappointing that the other driver didn’t even bother stopping. Glad there was a bank to keep it from tipping over. Although all together a different situation, this reminds me of the guy you said that left your Campground and tried to go cross country over the...

    Integrated touch screen system

@Jim ... I think it does connect through a WiFi connection as I did have to put my Ranger WiFi password in the SilverLeaf. In my coach I use the Ranger WiFi to connect to all devices that need WiFi like the TV's, my laptop, the built in dash GPS and the SilverLeaf. The Ranger router connects...

    Integrated touch screen system

Here you go ... download this app and use it. It worked great on my 22 Mountain Aire and now on the 25 New Aire. I put in on the iPhone and the iPad. https://newgle.newmarcorp.com/s/article/SilverLeaf-LR125-Module-with-System-Control-App-for-Personal-Devices-Coach-Owner-Training

    Newmar Phone System Reported Down

I was just looking at Facebook and saw this as well. That’s quite a coincidence.

    Resolved StarLink is down

I just saw this on "X" ..... Elon Musk @elonmusk · 1h Service will be restored shortly. Sorry for the outage. SpaceX will remedy root cause to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

    Visiting The Mothership!

WOW ... isn't that that same routine you go through when someone rents the coach at Deer Springs RV Park. It's become a habit. FLSteve

    Emergency DEF bypass

Wow, that sounds good. Does that mean once this is done that the huge muffler apparatus in the back goes away as well? They could almost put another storage compartment there.

    Starlink

@redbaron ... thanks for the reply. I was hoping you might see this. Coach is over at NorthTrail RV getting some punchlist items taken care of. Will post picture as soon as I get it back. FLSteve

    Starlink

Since this thread is kind of a general discussion on Starlink, I thought I’d ask my question here. The new motorhome I just bought had Starlink already installed with a fixed non-movable dish mounted on the back of the motorhome roof and it runs through the Wi-Fi router in the motorhome. The...

Start/Stop on Jeeps (and other vehicles)

Yep ... that's definitely one way. I did that with the past several Jeeps I had. Finally got tired of forgetting to do it about every 5th time and having it start/stop on me. This seems like an easy way around that. I will just skip going to McDonalds for maybe 3 or 4 times and it will be...

Start/Stop on Jeeps (and other vehicles)

I have never liked this "feature" and know there are many ways out there to disable it ... but I just found this solution that looks really good to me so I ordered one. Will get it in a few days and after I install and use it for a bit will post the results. Just passing this on incase other...

    Emergency DEF bypass

I am a little late to the game, but I have just located another source for a DEF Head Simulator (at least it was new to me). I built the one for my Spartan, but decided to just buy one ($400) for my new coach that is on a Freightliner. This is a plug and play one that has been field tested so...
