Hi everyone. New to the site...
Yesterday we bought a 2000 Georgie boy landau with a Ford triton V10 auto trans. A couple of things I'm having questions about.. it has to be started using the emergency start.. you turn the ignition key forward and get nothing..
It has to start by a combination of the key and emergency switch together. All three batteries are a year old. No check engine lights.
Even with the ignition key forward there is no power to anything. Radio, blower motor etc.
Second thing.. was bringing it home and was on a very rough stretch of road. Listening to the radio and had the fan going.. (ac doesn't work)
Hit some pretty rough bumps and lost the radio and fan.. again like no power from the ignition switch.. and my third question why do have to have the coach running for the steps to come out?
Can you do it manually? Thank you in advance.

There should be a chassis battery disconnect somewhere. Make sure that is in the ON position. The chassis disconnect solenoid could be bad also.
There should be a switch for the steps. One position it goes in and out with the door closing and opening. The other position the steps will stay out with the ignition off and will retract with ignition on and door closed.

So the house batteries both have 12.5 volts
The chassis battery is shot. New one going in this morning. But I'm not understanding why I don't have power inside the coach without running the Genset or 30/50 amp service
