I’m at witts end hear . I parked this trailer about 4 years ago at a seasonal campground. We only bought it the prior year before that. Ever since we parked it is overheating the campground 30amp breaker to the point that it destroys my plug or at the very least trips the pole breaker. This happens even when I have everything turned off like the water heater microwave. I do run the roof top ac . Any ideas out there?

Have you had the campground power pedestal checked? It could be improperly wired or have a bad connection. Or, the voltage could be low, causing a heavier current draw.

Do you have any sort of surge suppressor or power management equipment inline?

Had the outlet checked and it’s putting out between 120 and 130 volt. Checked my amp draw at the trailer power cord and it is pulling roughly 12-16 amps with just the ac on. When I turn on the electric water heater it jumps up to mid 20s . No extras on the cord. Right now I’m running a 50 amp adapter so it doesn’t keep tripping the 30amp breaker. But the 30 amp plug into the adapter is very very hot. I have an electrician replacing the outlet.
