I'm new to the RV scene just purchasing a used 2004 Scottsdale Newmar Class A motorhome. It's in very good condition very well taken care of but I'm thinking I'm needing to replace the water pump as it's making a horrible noise but still pumps water. I can't seem to locate it and was needing some advice where it is and what pump to replace it with. Thanks for any direction!

If it makes that much noise, it should not be difficult to find. They are usually mounted low and close to the fresh water tanks.

Our water pump is located in the wet bay and is laying on the bottom of that bay. The original was a 2.3 gpm model. Our new water pump is a 4.0 gpm and makes noise when it's running (just like the original).

What year and model RV do you have RKins?
