I am the 4th owner of this unit. My Onan generator is wired so it only runs if the vehicle ignition is "on". This is my third motorhome and the first time I encountered this issue. The serviceman had never seen it either and we wonder if there was a problem with the generator gasoline feed and a previous owner may have connected to the engine feed line as an easier/less expensive fix. Does anyone else have to have the ignition on to run the generator?
