Hi everyone-
We just picked up our "new to us" 2015 Sunstar 27N today; it seems to be well cared for, @ 43k miles, has like new tires, correctly inflated, but seems like the steering and handling are sketchy. We have an under 3k pound toad on a dolly, and generally keep speed at 60/65-but really felt we were getting pushed by semis passing us, and there seems to be looseness or play, in the steering, that complicates the "hold it straight and steady" when the big rigs blow by.
Admittedly, we traded our "C", which was 3 feet shorter, and a good bit lighter, as well as under 20k miles, on a Mercedes chassis-sometimes we got that blown around feeling, but the tighter steering made it feel more confidence inspiring.
I guess I'm asking if the Ford chassis has some service points I need to explore, or is it just something I need to get used to?
Thanks for your help,
Les
