I have a 2020 or 2021 Coachman Beyond 22C (Camping World not sure what year it is). It has 18K miles on it.
It has been extremely hot in Texas this year. One time the temperature in the coach read 125 degrees.
I was running the A/C and then used my 12V TV or the microwave and about 1 to 2 min after starting those devices, the A/C would stop (it is a Dometic) and trip its 15V circuit breaker. I turned everything off, reset the breaker and everything came back on. This happened about 5 times. I let the RV sit and when the days were cooler, above 105 ) I tried again and this time the breaker did not trip. Therefore I surmised it had something to do with the heat.
A couple weeks went by, RV sitting in driving not being used, and I started generator and turned on A/C. Then I turned on my 12 V TV. This time, no breakers were tripped but the A/C just stopped running.
I can find no on/off switches on A/C and as I mentioned no circuits were tripped.
I am not sure how a 12V TV could affect the A/C.
In all cases you could hear the generator start to run down until the A/C shut off and then it picked back up.
Anyone have a thoughts on what I should be looking for to start the A/C and thoughts on why/how a 12V TV could shut down A/C
