I bought a 2020 Wayfarer on a Mercedes chassis recently with 24,000 miles on it and headed from my home in FL for a 2-month tour of the west. After one month I have encountered 10 defects with the motorhome coach. Actually 11 but I had one issue (water heater) fixed before leaving. One of the problems will require a shop visit ( bedroom slide out track is bent badly, I'm told by a mobile repair person), but other problems I can fix myself. 2 issues involve parts I can't find anywhere,so I thought I would ask for help here. First: the strong Colorado mountains wind caught by coach entry/exit door and broke the hydraulic rod that attaches to the step. It keeps the door from opening too widely. Need a new one, can't find it. It is a Staybile product and I cant find it at their site. Second, a kitchen cabinet door, the smaller one under the sink area, has a latch that keeps the door tightly closed. Can't see a name or number. A metal plate has broken and needs replaced. Does anyone have a go-to person or business for hard to find parts.
Although my trip is troublesome because of broken stuff, my wife and I will finish it; just have to sleep on the pull out couch and not take a shower because of a leak somewhere behind the stall, causing water on the bedroom floor. Sponge baths at the sink for another month.

That sux, sorry for your problems but it sounds like you have a great attitude; press on.

Welcome to RVforums. Sounds like you are on an adventure and building memories for the future. If you could post some pictures of your broken parts it may make it easier for us to help you.

I know I have replaced a broken door latch on mine and if I can see it I may be able to help find a replacement. Sounds like you may have to take the faucet off the shower wall and see if you have a leaking fitting.
