I was viewing a 2021 Winnebego Sunstar 27P and noticed that the rubber (or whatever sealing material) around the outside perimeter of the window glass has cracks throughout as if sun damaged.
Is this common? This unit is only 3 years old and cracking window seal material already? Before I knew the rig's age, I was guessing 10 or 12 years old. 2021? C'mon, man.
Will it leak? Sure, eventually. But when cracks first appear?
What kind of repair is recommended? When to seal the cracks in the rubber (leaving it in place) vs. refurbish the rubber (remove/reinstall) vs. replace the rubber?
This is a picture of the rig from dealer's web site. I didn't take a closeup. I didn't think of taking a photo until after I left the lot when I realized how odd for window seals to be cracking on such a newish rig.
