A couple months ago we were proud owners of a 2022 Grand Design 349M until immediately we had problems through out the 5th wheel and a couple days ago the island fell over and hurt my wife (whom is a traveling ICU nurse). This is not our first rig but have had more problems with this thing then any of our other RV’s that we’re all purchased new. My wife is on assignment in a rural part of Arizona as an Traveling ICU nurse not only is it difficult for her to sustain an injury from a poorly made product but impossible to get someone to fix it nor do we have the privilege to lose our home for months on end taking it to a dealer. After inspection of the island I was embarrassed for Grand Design on how they justified a couple of wood screws would hold a solid surface counter top island. This thing free fell on its own while the 5th whee was parked I can’t imagine what would have happened and the damage it would have caused if it were under tow! I regret my purchase and would never recommend this brand to anyone. This is gross negligence at every level.
