Whew! I feel much better now.
True, when I was shopping in 2020, you could easily get a new 35’ Ventana for just over $200k. That’s a big jump in three years but it seems like playing the inflation card is an economy-wide excuse to gouge these days. That’s why I wouldn’t think of buying new now, whereas I considered buying a new coach quite seriously in 2020.
 
This doesnt justify the entire price jump but it does explain a big chunk of it, specifically switching to the L9 for 35’ models, heavier axles, 305/70 tires and 9” wheels, and improved front suspension.
