My neighbors have a 2017 Leisure Unity with a 3 way Dometic refrigerator (don't know the model #). It will work on 120v and 12 v (although this eats up battery power - just two house batteries), but will not even try to ignite on gas (appears to have two ignitors…?). All other propane appliances work, tank is at 80% full. The rig is in perfect condition and well maintained - definitely not a neglected beater.

The burner and flue are clean, no soot anywhere, and all wiring is intact - visual inspection found no issues, all wiring looks good (no rodent damage), both fuses are good (at the panel and inside the bottom rear of the fridge) and there is 12v to everything in there I could check with a multi-meter. One thing I did not do is start cracking gas line fittings, and there is a complex looking gas valve with 3 or 4 wires going to it that is suspect - are these prone to failure?

Also killing power for 10 minutes did nothing. Inisde the indicator for gas operation just flashes but its not a discernible code and there is only the most basic troubleshooting in the manual - basically useless, and of course this problem developed on a holiday weekend. It worked just fine last time they used it - two weeks ago on a three day trip to Napa.

So ideas? They are leaving for an unplanned trip to the East Coast this morning and want to boondock and drive more or less straight through to Mass from Ca in four days (family emergency) so it would help them if there was some quick easy fix. Thanks….

It could be because spiders have made a nest in the lines, you can get more info if you google it!
