Connected to bad power now a/c not working fan blowing hot air

Can you tell if the compressor is kicking in? First thing is to check is the capacitor for the compressor or the hard start if it has one. There may be an external protector on the compressor depending what model you have. Most are internal and reset. Next is the control box in the AC unit, it may have damaged the relay to tutn the compressor on, the fan is a separate relay. Then the thermostat, is it sending a signal? Harder to diagnose this one. The breaker is fine or the fan would not turn on. Where are you located? You may have to get a mobile tech to diagnose it.
