Problem A outside lamp that has no way to turn it on

So, We took delivery of a new, left over Highland Ridge Open Range 379FBS last January and although we have had some problems, (so big, some not) I will say Jayco, the parent company has been great to work with to solve the unit problems.
But now I have a very minor issue, that neither Jayco or myself have figured out. On the outside near the entry door there is a yellow clearance light (thats not a clearance light), that I believe is probably a light that would illuminate the steps at night. (see Photos). The problem is the light, although apparently wired, has no method that I have discovered to power it on.
Jayco suggested it could be wired to a Jaycommand node and should turn on and off at the control panel, but there is not sign of a control there.
Has anyone seen this problem? Do you have a possible solution?

Ours works when the porch lamp is on and the door gets opened. We have a coach not a fiver but it should work similar.

We have a similar situation with a light on the side of our Coachmen. We have an LED light strip under the awning that I believe may have been added at the dealer. My guess is they just disconnected that light from the switch and tied the LEDs to the switch. Any chance you have something similar?

Well the only porch light we have are the LED lamps that are a part of the awning. Ill try that though, thanks!
