Well...it is. It's flashy gold color reminds people of the gold rush days (Eureka!). Those days were filled with improper behavior and it was deemed the beginning of global warming. If you try to order one on Amazon you'll get the message "Unable to deliver to that zip code" (due to Prop 65) which punishes those for the onslaught of problems caused by the CA gold rush. In an effort to erase the past, all flashy gold things are prohibited in CA until further notice. Sorry, but if you have flashy gold things on your RV you probably shouldn't make a reservation at the new Avila Beach RV Resort with views to Point Sal or plan on breakfast at Fat Cats. (The negative of the positive post )

I was trying to find out why my check engine light was on in my new to me '15 Mercedes ML350. I bought a code reader. I kinda read the tiny teeny weeny print in the instruction booklet. Plugged in the reader, said gas cap was loose (OR pumps our gas for us). Tightened down.

Read it again. It then said to unplug the negative of the battery, let sit for 2 min and rehook up.

I COULDN"T FIND THAT BATTERY ANYWHERE! Had to go to the internet and found it was under the front passenger seat! Who in the heck puts them there???

I no longer like car batteries but I do like this positive post!!

Mercedes likes to hide anything electrical. Had to replace the 150 amp fuse to the starter battery one time and had to dig my way towards the engine through the pass. floor.
