• Environmental and public health risk: Dumping sewage on the road poses serious health and environmental risks to the public and is a violation of water pollution laws.

Some, if not all, States require a Cap on the dump value. If it is missing, there is a big fine.

One reason why the YouTubers did the video was to show those who do not know anything about RV'ing or renting one how costly it is. Another point they make at the end of the video is that they also considered renting an RV before jumping into the lifestyle. They talk about the Class C they rented from C.A., and essentially, what a piece of junk it was. They did comment that if they had rented one from C.A., they may not have jumped into the lifestyle with both feet, selling everything they owned to get the old Jayco and used Ford P/U.

fishslayer, is "doing it for decades" regarding RV'ing, or renting them? IMHO, I would not suggest the renting option to most people as a trial run before deciding on buying into the lifestyle. Just as the video shows. However, for the weekend warrior or the family looking for nothing more than an alternative vacation option, renting an RV can be a fun experience. My SIL has rented from Cruise America at least a half dozen times, exactly for that reason, even touring the Grand Canyon region with friends from Sweden in one.
