Its been hot here the last few weeks, basically ever since we got home from our last trip at the beginning of August, topping out two days ago at 117°, over 105 for a couple weeks (outdoor thermometer is in the shade), and due to other circumstances, we can’t just run to the coast for cooler weather.
So. Since I don’t have indoor climate controlled storage I set my thermostat on 90 when parked to keep from cooking my interior (I measured the dash of my truck a few days ago at 170°!). But the downside is that Im putting a lot of hours on my AC units with temps well over 100° every day for weeks. I don’t like doing that but I think its preferable to overheating the interior.
What do you do?
PS - I am not including energy costs as a factor because Im only concerned about the condition of the coach.
