Greetings everyone,
I didn’t know it’s a bad idea to operate a gas/electric rv fridge on an unlevel surface. I did exactly that and now the fridge on our 2009 vista cruiser doesn’t work. I have sinced used wooden boards to level the rv. Fridge still doesn’t work. Anything else I can do before I call for a service repair?
When this happend to mine it was toast. The repair costs were just the parts were going to cost me more than a newer bigger resi fridge. We changed ours out and have never looked back. We boondock with no issues and enjoy water and ice through the door and hard ice cream.

Jack.....that first pic with the water bottles..... see that little round plastic tube hanging by the cable coming out of the rear wall of the fridge? It should be clipped into the groove on that piece of plastic that you took off the cooling fins. It can then be clipped back onto the cooling fins, and the sticker shows you how to move the clipped sensor up and down to make the fridge warmer or colder.
